Personal Mission Statement

I am looking for clients that are willing to access their own inner wisdom as well as my gifts and knowledge in order to discover what is needed to achieve their goals, regardless of whether their goal is recovering from injury, healing from chronic pain or just wanting to maintain a healthy body and mind.

It is my intention to work with my client as a team and create a safe place for healing. It is my intention to listen to you and your body. The most important lesson I have learned over the years has been to remember that the greatest wisdom lies within the body.

It is extremely important to get our “minds” out of the way of what we think we know and what we think needs to be done in order to hear the wisdom of the body and allow it to lead us to what needs our focus and energy.

Through years of experience I have come to recognize the importance of the therapist not taking on the role of the one who is expected to “fix” a problem. Instead, it is my role to be a guide and to assist and empower my clients to play just as much of an active role as I do myself in each session.

My unique journey has transformed me into the therapist I am today. It may seem ironic, but I am grateful for the personal pain that led me to this work and I am grateful that my initial clients/teachers were horses. These wise beings encouraged me to “feel” verses talk and think about what to do and helped me to trust my intuition and sense of touch. This mentoring felt like a natural way to begin to connect with my gift and served as a wonderful foundation for my formal education, opening the doorway for the opportunity to assist you.
